It all began with The Wot-If? Trust crossing (prosperous) paths with Pusha Mzala in 2015! The artist management and showcase company hosted their first #PushaKasi2Kasi Music Workshop which directly resulted in 25 Diepsloot artists enjoying the Moshito Music Conference and Exhibition from the 7th – 11th of September 2016.

One of the artists, Gloria ‘Iccy’ Pas, won the DEMO session of the #Moshito2016 Conference valued at R20 000. The momentum was too great to stop here… The Wot-If? Trust with the help of Pusha Mzala then managed to select a niche group of five of the independent artists who experienced their #PushaKasi2Kasi Music Workshop as well as #Moshito2016. The five artists were tasked to create a song about peace, unity and prosperity for their third consecutive Diepsloot Social Good Summit Meetup – held on the 17th of September 2016. The results… An amazing song you’ll soon hear on local (and international) channels.
It’s not everyday you meet Neill Solomon and Gavan Eckhart for a recording opportunity inside Soul Fire Studio! On the 4th of November, this group of Independent artists managed to successfully collaborate and record their phenomenal single… All thanks to our Wot-If? Trustee, Brendan Grealy, for the introduction after attending our Diepsloot Social Good Summit Meetup on the 17th of September and hearing the power expelled in the song.
